Today I took a look at some of the free agents who have not struck deals yet and saw that Andray Blatche was still waiting. This guy is a quality PF/C who gets a 226.640 JPPI rating, which if he were included in my first 25 would have ranked 6th behind Kevin Durant and in front of Blake Griffin. This guy is cheap yet effective. Simply put he does everything well, and if you look at his PPG he even scores a lot in his short time on the court. Of course the JPPI does not take PPG into account so he had to rely on his FG%, rebounding, and blocking. Plus Blatche is 27, the sweet spot age for an NBA player. Teams that come to mind that could use his talents are the Los Angeles Lakers, who lost Gasol, and the Philadelphia 76ers. Actually I like both fits a lot, he could be in the mix with the Lakers and as a 76er he could provide valuable minutes to rest Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid. Somebody, sign this man! I'm so convinced I even moved Udonis Haslem off the NBA Value Team.
